Medium size dumpster

I adore dumps, it's so fascinating to see how the images some how correlate and how even though they are sketches, how clean they are! Would you mind explaining how you make your dumps? I am still learning Do you simply draw all in separate documents then import them onto a single file? Also, how are your messy sketches so clean, I really like how you work!
